Andrew Wagner is a graduate of William Paterson University, where he studied with trumpet master Jeremy Pelt. After hearing a recording of Clifford Brown in high school, Andrew was inspired to pursue his passion for playing seriously.

A recipient of the James Moody Scholarship, Andrew has performed and led his bands at venues throughout New York City, including the Blue Note, Dizzy’s Club, Jazz at Lincoln Center, The Django, Smalls, and Cellar Dog.

Andrew has performed with musicians including Winard Harper, Joe Farnsworth, Nat Reeves, Jerry Weldon, Lonnie Plaxico, and Mike LeDonne. He currently maintains a busy performance schedule in the New York City area and also teaches trumpet in private and public settings.
